This study proposed a framework for human learning ability study by using multimodal neuroimaging through simultaneous EEG/fNIRS measurement and neuroinformatics to understand target learning ability in laboratory and using portable EEG device to monitor real-time brain state for evaluating the learning/teaching methods introduced for improving the target learning ability in learning environment. The implicit learning was used as target learning ability to investigate the effectiveness of the framework. In this phase, the results from an empirical brain study in the laboratory reveal distinct pattern of response in subjects who developed implicit knowledge. The corresponding brain regions were identified and will be used in the next phase.Porphyrins are organic compounds that can act as light harvesting molecules, thus they suit for optoelectronic applications (solar cells, light emitting diodes, lasers, etc.), photodegradation, and photodynamic therapy. In this research, a porphyrin derivate, tetra(p-dimethylaminophenyl)porphyrin (TDMAPP) was directly synthesized through condensation reaction of pyrrole and p-dimethylaminobenzaldehyde using a Microwave Assisted Organic Synthesis (MAOS) methode. Synthesized compound was characterized using UV-Vis spectrophotometry that shows a Soret band at 422 nm, which is red shifted with respect to tetraphenylporphyrin (TPP) at 418 nm. This red shift is due to the presence of amine groups as electron donating group in phenyl ring at para- position with respect to porphyrin ring. The presence of amine groups also induce a broadening in whole UV-Vis absorption spectrum with respect to TPP. Both features are the advantages for TDMAPP as a light harvesting dye, where it has a broader absorption range and lower excitation energies. TDMAPP also gives a strong red fluorescence centered at 665 nm, which also red shifted with respect to TPP at 651 nm when excited at 422 nm.Chromium is common pollutant introduced into natural waters due to the discharge of a variety industrial wastewater which form hexavalent and trivalent. Chromium hexavalent is mobile in the environment and highly toxic and carcinogenic. There are many technology in chromium removal. One of them is biosorption. In this research, biosorption chromium hexavalent in batch system was done for 180 minutes at 180 rpm at pH 1 using chromium artificial wastewater with initial concentration 100 ppm. Chromium effluent concentration was determined by colorimetry method using 1,5-diphenylcarbazide as complexing agent and measured using spectrofotometer. The results showed that the biosorption mechanism folows isotherm Langmuir with qm and Kads as much as 20.3 mg 70
