Screening of lipolitic bacteria from domestic compost resulting an isolate namely AL17. Morphological analysis shows that the isolate were rod shape and belong to negative gram bacteria. The 16S rRNAs genes of the bacteria have been sequenced, and phylogenetic analysis showed that the isolate were close to genus Pseudoxanthomonas. The enzyme production was synchronized with bacterial growth and reached a maximum level during the late-stationary phase. The optimum pH and temperature of enzyme activity were at pH 9.0 and 60°C. The isolate also showed alcohol tolerance in medium containing 3% and 5% methanol. The ability of bacterial cells to tolerate methanol is an important cell characteristic that determines their use as a biocatalyst in transesterification and other industrial process.Actinide production from spent nuclear fuel has being intensively monitored and controlled by the IAEA, to ensure all nuclear materials, nuclear fuel facilities including fuel reprocessing facilities are used only for civil and peaceful purposes. Spent nuclear fuel (SNF) from nuclear facilities such as from commercial reactors becomes one of the important issues in term of reducing environmental impact and fuel sustainability as well as nuclear non-proliferation point of view when those SNF materials can be recycled and utilized as “new” fuel loaded into the reactors. Several discharged fuel burnup and decay time effects which are used to evaluate those effect to actinide production of element compositions based on spent fuel of light water reactor (LWR) type have been evaluated in this present study. Those fuel burnup value are varied from 33 GWd/t up to 60 GWd/t and several decay times or cooling times process from 1 years to 30 years cooling time are also evaluated. The results show that actinide composition of each element and isotopic element have their own trend during reactor operation as burnup parameter and during cooling time process after the reactors are stop. Actinide element production is increasing with increasing burnup level except for uranium production which is decreasing as well as heavy metal in total production is also decreasing. Decreasing uranium production is estimated from reduction number of U-235 for fission reaction and it converts to fission product and capturing neutron by U-238 will convert to neptunium, plutonium up to curium. In case of longer cooling time, each actinide element is increasing except for plutonium and curium which show a decreasing trend for longer cooling time. Cooling time process is based on half-lives of material which can be estimated that decreasing plutonium and curium during cooling time process caused by some isotopes of those element have shorter half-lives. Cooling time process and burnup process are effective to increase even mass number of plutonium and to reduces odd mass number of plutonium which can be considered to increase material barrier of intrinsic proliferation resistance based on isotopic barreir of plutonium. As one of many biometric traits, speech can be used as person recognition through an automatic speaker recognition system. In order to build a speaker recognition system that has good performance, it is important to train and test the system using sufficient database. In general, the database has to cover various problems that might occur in the speaker recognition process due to variability in session, gender and language/ dialect spoken.Research proposed by this proposal will conduct a database construction by recording spoken Bahasa Indonesia utterances by many speakers. The speakers will be designed to represent many dialects and local/ traditional language spoken across the archipelago of Indonesia. This database collection is just the first step of the making of an automatic speaker recognition system designed specifically for Indonesians. In the bigger picture, the released
