Moreover, the consumption of the kinetic ener-gy of the wind above the urban canopy layer in such urban districts leads to less total kinetic energy available in the leeward area of the focused urban districts. In this study, the consumption of total kinetic energy of the wind was evaluated by energy dissipation rate calculated using the LES data, and its negative effect on the wind environment in leeward areas was evaluated quantitatively.本研究では，急速なアブラヤシのプランテーションに伴う環境問題が深刻化しているインドネシアに焦点を当て，国際多地域間産業連関表とパームオイルに関する各種統計，衛星データを組み合わせて，2000年から2013年における世界44か国・地域の直接・間接パームオイル消費量の推移を世界で初めて同定した．その結果，例えば日本では2013年に12.7万tのパームオイルをインドネシアから輸入したが，間接的な消費も含めると69.1万t（8位/44ヵ国・地域）のパームオイルが消費されていたことが明らかとなった．さらに，その結果をもとに，各国の消費が間接的に及ぼした土地改変量および火災面積を推計した．本成果を通じて，需要側からパームオイルの生産国で生じる諸問題の解決を図るための取組みを支援する新たな知見が得られたと考えられる．This study focuses on Indonesia, which is facing serious environmental problems due to its rapid oil palm plantation and identifies trends in direct and indirect palm oil consumption in 44 countries and regions from 2000 to 2013 for the first time. The analyses were conducted by combining the global multi-regional in-put-output tables, various statistics on palm oil, and satellite data of land-use changes within fire. As a result, for example, Japan consumed 691,000 tons (8th place/44 countries/regions) of palm oil directly and indirectly while it imported 127,000 tons of palm oil from Indonesia in 2013. Further, based on these results, we also estimated the magnitudes of land-use change and fire area associated with the consumption in each country. The achievement of this study could newly contribute to supporting efforts to solve the problems arising in countries producing palm oil from the demand side.2019年，日本政府は日本が「外国人材」の受入れ拡大へ政策の方向転換をすることを表明した．しかし労働力の確保と移民（＝人間）の排除という矛盾する政策は，将来的な社会内部の不平等の拡大を引き起こし，さまざまな社会不安を引き起こすことが，欧米の移民研究で長く議論されている（Alba 2005; Health, Rothon and Kilpi 2008）．そこで本研究は，日本を事例に，法的・理論的には存在しないはずの，強制退去後や帰国後に外国人労働者によって取り残された子どもたち（Abandoned Children）ついて存在を明らかにし，「受け入れているのは生身の人間であり，労働力だけを受け入れることは不可能である」という前提に立つ外国人労働者受入れ政策へむけた基礎資料・分析の作成を目標とする．In 2019, the Japanese government decided to accept foreign labor.
