couple of days. Structural characterization with circular dichroism confirmed that the released insulin retained their native conformations. The condensation process requires a surface that can maintain the heat transfer coefficient value. Copper pipes are generally hydrophilic under normal conditions and tend to produce filmwise condensation. The filmwise condensation model adds thermal resistance, which reduces the heat transfer coefficient value. Etching and surface coating processes are needed to obtain new, better characteristics for condensation applications. Tests were carried out on normal, super hydrophilic, and superhydrophobic copper pipes, which were tested in an open environment and heat exchanger tubes to get the best results. An alkaline solution of a mixture of sodium hydroxide (NaOH) and ammonium persulfate ((NH4)2S2O8) is used for the etching process to obtain a surface. Meanwhile, the coating process uses Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS). The results of etching and coating were obtained on super hydrophilic and superhydrophobic surfaces. The testing results in an open environment showed that the super hydrophilic pipe had a temperature difference, and the highest number of droplets was around 1.9 oC and 2.94 g on the second day of testing. Meanwhile, testing using a heat exchanger tube showed that the lowest exit steam temperature in the super hydrophilic pipe was around 5.5 oC lower than the normal pipe. Meanwhile, the use of super hydrophilic pipes is best for condensation applications. However, testing will continue because several pipes must be tested.Natural rubber (NR) and cellulose are two commonly used natural polymers in various industries. When combined in a composite material, they have the potential to significantly broaden their range of applications. This research focuses on the preparation and characterization of composites created by graft copolymerization of deproteinized natural rubber with styrene (DPNR-graft-PS) nd regenerated cellulose (RC). The DPNR-graft-PS serves as the matrix, while RC acts as a reinforcing phase. The combination of two polymers was achieved through coprecipitation from a mixture in ethanol with varying ratio between RC and DPNR-graft-PS. The new biocomposite materials were analyzed using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) for characterization, while scanning electron microscopy (SEM) was used to study the morphology. The thermal properties were evaluated through thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The results indicate that the unique structure of RC/DPNR-graft-PS composites exhibits excellent properties. The process of industrialization - modernization is developing rapidly in Vietnam with a series of industrial parks being opened to serve the needs of economic development. The textile industry is currently the main production industry, earning the most foreign currency for the country.
