burning problem is the environmental pollution, especially the problem of water pollution. There are many causes of water pollution, but part of the main reason is the discharge of untreated industrial wastewater into the environment. In general, to treat industrial wastewaters and textile industry wastewater with a large content of organic pigments, there are currently many methods applied for treatment such as physical methods (adsorption, filtration, distillation, flotation...), chemical methods (precipitation, coagulation) or electrochemical methods. The Advanced Oxidation with catalysts of new materials is a solution that has been developed strongly in recent times with outstanding advantages such as environmentally friendly, handling thoroughly the pollutants, simple treatment system. Zero-valent iron nanomaterials are one of the catalyst materials of special interest because of their easy fabrication, low cost, quite environmental friendliness, and the ability to thoroughly treat many polluting objects such as pesticides, some heavy metals, organic pigments, some inorganic ions, etc. Zero-valent iron nanomaterials (nZVI) can be synthesized by many different methods such as thermal decomposition, evaporation, chemical... In which, the chemical method is the method of reducing iron salts, usually iron (III) salt with a strong reducing agent such as NaBH4 to synthesized nZVI. But the NaBH4 reducing this reducing agent is expensive, flammable and explosive, so the reducing agent NaBH4 is not enough effective in wide application in practice. In addition, the nZVI products are quickly oxidized in the presence of oxygen. In this study, the Cleistocalyx operculatus and Terminalia catappa leaves extract, which are local type tree in Vietnam will be studied and used as an environmentally safe, effective and economical reducing agent for the synthesis of iron nanoparticles. The nZVI products that are synthesized by the Cleistocalyx operculatus and iron (III) salt can be covered by a layer of organic compounds present in the extract, thereby significantly reducing the oxidation by the environment enhance the practical applicability of the product.Corporate governance has drawn attention of both practitioners and researchers around the world for many years. Realizing the importance of corporate governance, Vietnam published the Corporate Governance Code (CGC) in 2019 to strengthen the corporate governance practices in listed firms. Using data from 2017 until 2022 for listed companies in Vietnam, we examined the before and after effect of the release of CGC on corporate governance practices and firm performance. Our findings indicate that the CGC increases board independence, board gender diversity, female CEO but reduces duality. The interaction between CGC and board independence reduces CEO turnover and the interaction with female CEO increases CEO turnover. Our study can shed a light into the effects of CGC in corporate governance practices in an emerging economy having a highly growth rate of financial markets. The healthcare system nowadays is under heavy stress due to the increase in population and the low doctor-to-population ratio in society. Moreover, population aging and infectious diseases caused by climate change and environmental pollution put medical facilities in one of the worst crises. In such a situation, an IoT-based health monitoring platform for infectious, elderly patients monitoring system using (SWIT) is essentially to reduce hospital stress.131Hanh MinhTHAI 132Minh ThuyLEEffects of Corporate Governance Codes on Corporate Governance Practices in Vietnamese Listed Firms(Project 2023)SWIT: A Self-powered Smart Wearable Wristband for Infectious and Elderly Patient IoT-based Telemonitoring System(Project 2023)87
